Remington Johnson moderated a panel discussion on how we can be better allies with trans advocate and creator Angel Flores from Season 6 of Queer Eye, Tabitha Hamilton, founder of Black Trans Leadership of Austin, intersex activist and City of Austin Human Rights Commissioner Alicia Roth-Weigel, and child psychologist Dr. Janie Black.
Our silent auction raised more than $3,000 for Black Trans Leadership of Austin.
Tickets were free for trans, intersex or gender non-conforming folks and the caregivers of trans kids. Allies had the option to cover the ticket price for a member of the impacted community. This event was all about solidarity!
