Texas Foremothers Tours (Women's History Month)

We have Barbara Jordan to thank for the first minimum wage law in Texas.

Ann Richards brought more women and people of color into Texas state government than anyone before or since.

We have Sarah Weddington to thank for arguing and winning Roe v. Wade before the U.S. Supreme Court.

This Women's History Month, connect with these powerful women who continue to inspire us. Go home with ideas on how to select and connect with your own chosen ancestors.

Meet at the main entrance to the Texas State Cemetery on Navasota Street.

We will then visit each of these women's grave sites, learn more about their legacies, and, using the archetypes of the tarot, apply lessons from their stories to our lives today.

Tour price includes:

  • An intimate tour led by Becky Bullard, founder & CEO of Democrasexy and former co-host of The Rabble Texas politics podcast

  • Your own "Chosen Ancestors" kit including a specially selected crystal and journaling prompts

  • A coffee of your choosing from Jo's Coffee
